4.If I hire your company, how does payment work out?
If I hire your company, how does payment work out? Each project is different. Usually a down payment is needed before starting the project, and a final payment is made upon completion of the project.
5. Does FJ Construction take credit cards as payment?
To keep customers costs as low as possible, we do not take credit cards at this time.
6.After the contract is signed, how soon will the project begin?
After the contract is signed, how soon will the project begin? This depends on the size of the job, but typically we do not start earlier than one week after the contract is signed.
7.Are there different types of shingles you use, or is there one brand in particular you prefer?
Are there different types of shingles you use, or is there one brand in particular you prefer? We purchase only the highest quality materials. If you are looking for asphalt shingles, we usually use GAF. These shingles come with a a 30-year minimum warranty; some are 40-year and some are warrantied for life.
Always verify the brand of shingle upon arrival at your home to ensure the bid shingle is the same as the actual shingle being installed. Some remodeling companies choose to use a lower quality, less-expensive shingle, but charge the same price per square to their customer...making them more money and giving you less quality. FJ Construction will never do that!
